You were standing by your locker, trying to unlock the combination lock when you felt a presence right near you. You turn around and see your best friend, Al in close proximity, noticeably invading your personal bubble.
"Al, if you're trying to figure out my locker combination again, I swear I'll- ."
"No no, ______. I just wanted to show you something." You raised one eyebrow as you saw him pull out a paper fortune teller from behind him.
"A cootie catcher?"
"Not just any cootie catcher, an awesome one made by me. Wanna try it? Please?"
"Okay, fine." You smiled, it's been ages since you've even seen a cootie catcher, maybe since elementary school to be exact and you guys were now in high school.
"Alright, first pick a color."
"(f/c)."
He spelled out the color as he used his fingers to switch between the folds of the paper fortune teller. "Now pick a number."
You pointed to one of the numbers and giggled as you watched him fidget around with it a tiny bit before he was able to properly switch the position of the folds in the cootie catcher.
He smiled excitedly like a little kid as you picked from the last group of numbers after that.
"Last round now, _____! Are you ready for the big finale?" he joked.
"Yes!" you said, catching his contagious enthusiasm. You waited for the result as you chose one of the flaps. Lifting it, Al revealed the fortune towards you.
'An awesome, hot dude with blonde hair and glasses will take you out on a date tonight.'
You blushed as you processed this but started giggling. You flung your arms around Al, pulling him into a hug. He beamed at this and returned the hug.
Then you suddenly realized something. "Wait a second, what would happen if I picked another color or number?" You grabbed the paper fortune teller and started to unfold it entirely. "You put that message on all four sides, didn't you?"
"Yeah…" he chuckled.
Indeed you saw the same fortune on each flap so no matter which number or color you picked, it would still be the same result: you were going on a date with Al.
You snickered as you hugged him tighter.

America X Reader - Hurricane Day
Your eyes snapped open from your sleep, one thought echoing in your mind:
BEACH DAY!
All vacation long, the thought of the high surf and sandy shores of the Floridian coast were what pulled you forward. (Though staying at Alfred's place wasn't that bad either!) You could not wait to splash into that sparkling blue water. And today you would finally get to go!
Practically leaping out of bed, you rushed to the living room, on your way to wake up Alfred. But before you could interrupt his beauty sleep, you skidded to a stop, struck with the feeling that something was off.
Then you realized-it was awfully grey today.
Awwwww man!
You rushed

"Alfred, your tie is crooked," you sighed and walked over to your boyfriend to adjust his tie.

"That's fine, but try to keep your appearances up. I don't want you soiling my reputation, now."
